Dorado Cares is in the process of evolving its mission-driven programs to better serve our community. The assistance types listed below reflect our aspirational goals and ongoing efforts to address critical needs. While many programs are still under development by our Mission Chairpersons, we encourage individuals and families whose needs align with these categories to apply. Your application will help us prioritize resources and tailor support to our community’s most urgent challenges.

How to Apply for Assistance

Dorado Cares is committed to effectively addressing community needs through its five core missions:
Food Insecurity, Education, Healthcare, Emergency Disaster Relief, and Social Welfare. To ensure a fair and transparent evaluation process, all requests for assistance must align with one or more of these mission areas.

Applications for support may be submitted at any time. Upon receipt, each application will undergo an initial review by the Mission Chairperson, who will assess the request based on its alignment with our organizational missions and the specific circumstances presented. Following this review, the Mission Chairperson will provide recommendations and the final decision will be made by the Board of Directors.

All applicants can expect to receive a response regarding their application status—whether approved or denied—within 30 days of submission. Importantly, applicants whose requests are not approved are welcome to reapply, demonstrating our ongoing commitment to supporting community needs.

We appreciate your interest in Dorado Cares and encourage you to apply.
