    John O'Rourke is an investor, executive, and entrepreneur who invests in and operates early stage growth companies possessing distinct competitive advantages and superior management teams. John is a Founder and Board Member of CRED iQ, a CMBS data, analytics and valuation platform that counts multiple Fortune 500 companies as clients. CRED iQ is a trusted fintech platform operating in the CRE and CMBS industries offering unbiased, transparent and customizable analytics, data, and valuations delivered in real time.

    John was a Founder and CEO of Riot Blockchain, Inc, a leading U.S. based Bitcoin mining operator that has a multi-billion market capitalization. He also served on the Board of Directors of Mundo Media Inc., a global performance-based marketing company that reached more than two billion users per month and generated over $100 million in annual revenues at its peak.

    John received his Bachelor of Science in Accounting with Honors from the University of Maryland and resides in Dorado, Puerto Rico with his wife Lauren and their three children. He serves on the Board of Dorado Cares, a Puerto Rico based charity focused on helping children in local communities. John is also an active supporter of Tasis Academy in Dorado.

    Angus Davis has been an active entrepreneur, executive and investor in the Internet since its commercialization.

    In 1995, while a high school student in Rhode Island, Angus was an early employee at Intelecom Data Systems, one of the first commercial Internet Service Providers. In 1996, bypassing college, Angus joined Netscape, becoming the company’s youngest employee at age 18, where he was product manager for the Netscape Navigator Web browser, now known as Mozilla Firefox.

    In 1999, Angus co-founded Tellme Networks in Mountain View, California to bring the power of the Internet to the phone. Tellme pioneered many advancements in speech recognition for enterprise contact center and mobile search applications. In 2006, BusinessWeek named Angus one of the top ten entrepreneurs under age 30. In 2007, after growing to profitability with revenue over $100 million, Microsoft acquired Tellme in its then-largest acquisition of a private firm, for more than $800 million. Angus led speech recognition strategy at Microsoft for 2 years.

    In 2009, Angus founded Upserve in Providence, Rhode Island, which as CEO he grew to one of the largest restaurant point of sale platforms with 10,000 customers. Forbes named him one of “America’s most promising CEOs” and Upserve was recognized as the “Best Place to Work” for six years straight under his leadership. After partnering with Vista Equity Partners to grow the business, in 2018 Angus transitioned to a board role, maintaining his ownership in the company. In 2020, Lightspeed (NYSE: LSPD) acquired Upserve in a $500 million stock and cash deal.

    In 2019, Angus joined Foundation Capital where he has since led over $120 million of investments in more than a dozen early- and growth-stage fintech and enterprise software businesses.

    Angus and his wife Joanna live in Dorado, Puerto Rico and have three sons. Angus serves as a director of Dorado Cares, which helps low-income communities in Puerto Rico. A native of Rhode Island, Angus previously served on the boards the Preservation Society of Newport County, Saint Michael’s Country Day School, The Rhode Island Board of Regents for Elementary and Secondary Education, The Providence Foundation, The Center for Education Reform, and Rhode Island Mayoral Academies, among other causes. He was instrumental in establishing the Rhode Island corps of Teach for America, opening the Blackstone Valley Prep public charter school and creating Rhode Island’s “Mayoral Academy” statute.

    Christopher M. Lazos, has worked in the financial services industry since 2002 and joined Oppenheimer & Co. Inc. (“Oppenheimer”) in 2008. In 2016, the Firm awarded Chris the title of Managing Director –Investments. In the same year and subsequently in 2017, 2018, 2019, and 2020 he was named to the Top 25 Regional Advisors Under 40 by OnWallStreet Magazine. Additionally, Chris has been recognized by Forbes Magazine as a Top Next Generation Wealth Advisor in 2017, 2018, 2019, 2020, and 2021 as well as one of the Best-In-State Wealth Advisors for New York in 2018, 2019, 2020 and 2021*.  In 2021, Chris led efforts to open an Oppenheimer presence in Puerto Rico to cater to individuals and businesses who moved to Puerto Rico.

    Lazos manages a concierge practice for a limited number of clients. Among Chris’s strongest client relationships are entrepreneurs, corporate executives, partners at legal firms and retirees who have accumulated significant wealth. His minimum for new business is $5 million, unless there are extenuating circumstances. By keeping his practice to a relatively small number of relationships, Chris offers an exceptional service model that focuses on in-depth financial planning, institutional level investment management, periodic scheduled contact, and rapid response to any questions or inquiries with a 24 hour resolution standard. 

    Chris maintains a formal investment process, which enables him to determine each client’s risk tolerance, construct an appropriate asset allocation model, implement it, review it regularly, and as needed, rebalance it. He may recommend integrating alternative and non-correlated assets with traditional assets, where appropriate, for qualified investors. 

    Another major strength of Chris’s practice is his ability to collaborate with his clients’ other professional advisors, such as tax and legal advisors as well as family and multi-family offices. In collaborating with these other professionals, Chris works to create a coordinated effort designed to help the client reach his or her financial goals.

    Chris has three children with his wife Marissa, enjoys skiing, golfing, fishing, and spending time with his family. He has also been a long-time participant in philanthropic projects and is a passionate advocate for Shatterproof and a proud charter member of the National September 11th Memorial and Museum.

    Hunter J. Shkolnik is an esteemed and dedicated attorney who focuses on the trials of significant personal injury cases, primarily in the area of drug, automobile, aviation-related, and heavy truck product liability litigation. As an esteemed attorney, he leads the discovery and trial teams of various mass tort pharmaceutical and medical device litigations for the firm.

    He is also active in managing national litigation and plaintiff litigation groups including the American Association of Justice’s Actos Litigation Group.

    Mr. Shkolnik is currently serving as a chairman, leader, or court-appointed representative on Plaintiff Steering Committees in various drug and other mass torts. Additionally, Mr. Shkolnik has also held officer positions in the New York State Trial Lawyers, Nassau County Bar Association and Committee Chair positions in ATLA Health Care Finance Litigation Group, Orthopedic Implant Litigation Group, AAJ Breast Cancer Litigation Group, Co-Chair AAJ Heart Device Litigation Group, and the Chair of the Medtronic ICD and CRTD Litigation Sub Group.

    Hunter is a founding board member and Vice President of the Trial Lawyers of Puerto Rico (TLPR), a trade association bringing together top trial lawyers to share expertise, build partnerships, and to add value to the local Puerto Rico community.

    Mr. Shkolnik has also lectured and organized seminars on issues involving Guidant, Medtronic, and St. Jude pacemakers; ICD and lead wire recall science and litigation; cardiac device product liability litigation; class action topics such as Ethics of Mass Tort Settlements, Lone Pine, State Federal Coordination and Preemption; and has — on multiple occasions — lectured on the science related to various pharmaceuticals. He also returned as a featured speaker at the 2nd Annual Mass Torts Puerto Rico (MTPR) Conference.
